HR Business Partner – Bluware

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Houston. This strategic role involves working closely with the CEO and the Group VP of People and Culture to drive organizational transformation and change management initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record in establishing robust processes and procedures, leading employee engagement, and fostering a performance-led organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Partnership:
    • Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with organizational objectives.
    • Partner with key stakeholders to understand business needs and develop tailored HR solutions.
  • Talent Management and Acquisition:
    • Lead talent management efforts including recruitment, selection, and retention strategies.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and execute recruitment plans.
  • Performance Management:
    • Implement and oversee performance management processes to drive a high-performance culture.
    • Provide guidance to managers on performance feedback, coaching, and development plans.
  • Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution:
    • Act as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
    • Provide coaching to managers on handling employee relations matters effectively.
  • Learning and Development:
    • Partner with L&D specialists to assess training needs and develop learning initiatives aligned with business goals.
    • Facilitate leadership development programs and succession planning efforts.
  • Change Management:
    • Support organizational change initiatives by providing change management expertise and guidance.
    • Help leaders navigate change processes and mitigate resistance to change.
  • HR Policy and Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
    • Interpret labor laws and regulations to ensure adherence and mitigate risks.
  • Data Analysis and Insights:
    • Utilize HR data and analytics to identify trends, assess workforce metrics, and drive data-informed decisions.
    • Generate insights to inform talent strategies and address organizational challenges.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proven experience in managing transformation and change initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, employment legislation, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems effectively.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Be customer focused, learn about the business to help bring value to our customers
  • Team focused with a positive attitude, must be self-motivated, and have very good time management and communication skills both in written and verbal English.

Experience

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors is highly beneficial.
  • Experience in supporting global organisations with a presence in Europe, preferably Norway is beneficial.
  • Minimum of 7 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Special Requirements
This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from the office. Operational hub in Oslo, Norway with Head office in Houston, Texas, USA.
