Anjani Kumar
Vice President, CST
Mr. Kumar has a strong background in reservoir engineering and simulation supplemented by extensive industry experience.
He joined CMG in 2005 as a reservoir simulation engineer and progressed into a management role in 2009 developing and operating a global team of consulting, support and training engineers. Mr. Kumar was subsequently promoted to Vice President, Consulting, Support and Training in 2014 and assumed the current position in 2015 to continue upholding high standards in assisting CMG’s customers.
Mr. Kumar has authored several research papers on heavy oil recovery processes, chemical EOR and unconventional oil and gas reservoir simulation. He serves on the editorial committee of the SPE’s Journal of Canadian Petroleum Technology and on various awards committees of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Petroleum Engineering from the Indian School of Mines.
