As the Chief Technology Officer for CMG, John Mortimer is responsible for the advancement, innovation, and enhancement of CMG’s core software offering. 

With over 20 years of experience in software development, John’s skills and accomplishments in improving the scale and performance of software platforms, as well as his background in the development of cloud-based applications leveraging real-time data, are critical in accelerating CMG’s product strategy.

Prior to CMG, John has led several software and technology companies through high growth periods. He has developed and executed long-term architecture roadmaps for numerous software platforms and has extensive experience in corporate development initiatives including the support of mergers and acquisitions. 

John joined CMG in 2022 and has an MBA in Finance from the Haskayne School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary.
