CMOST Training Courses

CMOST for Conventional and Tight Reservoirs
This course introduces the four components of CMOST (Sensitivity Analysis, History Matching, Optimization, and Uncertainty Assessment) from a practical, applied approach. Learn how to successfully apply CMOST's optimization algorithms to simulate conventional and tight reservoirs. This course is available in Calgary and Houston.

CMOST for Thermal Applications
This course is for the experienced reservoir simulation engineers interested in the techniques of Sensitivity Analysis, History Matching, Optimization, and Uncertainty Assessment. After completing the course, you will be able to successfully apply CMOST optimization algorithms to simulate thermal EOR processes such as CSS and SAGD. This course is available in Calgary.

Assisted History Matching, Optimization and Uncertainty Analysis using IMEX
Practice SA, HM, Optimization, and UA in the application of an alternating water and gas injection process (WAG). This course is available in Bogota.

CMOST for Oil Sands Optimization (Custom Course)
Learn the techniques of SA, HM, Optimization, and UA specifically for oil sands applications. This course introduces the four components of CMOST, but focuses mostly on optimization and uncertainty assessment type tasks. The theoretical basis of optimization algorithms is discussed with a focus on the application of the software to real-world oil sands problems, such as SAGD and CSS. Read more...

"With all the time you could save efficiently using CMOST, it becomes a powerful tool."
-CMOST for Conventional and Tight Reservoirs
"Going through each type of task for CMOST, I am able to look at the program more as a whole and understand how they relate together."
-CMOST for Conventional and Tight Reservoirs
"Use of live examples and hands-on techniques were useful. Ability to show applicability and knowledge base of the instructor was also impressive."
