CMG's 2020 Technical Symposium is June 15-16, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Join us for the Virtual Technical Symposium Series.
This event has always been, and still is, for our customers. Switching to a virtual format means we can connect with many more of you, from countries around the world.
The TS brings together technical experts to provide a unique forum focused on reservoir simulation. While we have adapted our program, it will still cover reservoir modelling, product updates, new research, and real industry success stories.
There is no fee to participate.
Join CMG in continuing to shape the future of simulation.
Our first event in the Virtual Technical Symposium Series was held in February 2021. Building on that success, we're announcing new events that will move around CMG's global offices through 2021 and 2022.
Each day's sessions will contain dedicated client presentations, interspersed with R&D presentations, and live Q&A.

The Technical Symposium Experience
Although we will miss seeing you in person, we hope the virtual platform will enable you to listen to real world case studies from industry experts on a range of topics. The online platform will also enable you to network and talk to our sales and development team.
Hear firsthand from CMG’s development team about R&D initiatives and the latest product updates. After the talks, visit different networking rooms to talk directly with developers and other attendees about the updates.
See live software demonstrations of our latest solutions in one of many virtual “rooms”.
At the end of the presentations, you will be able to speak directly with CMG experts who can answer your questions.
Have you used CMG software to solve your company’s challenges? We invite you to present at the symposium so you can share your success story. The following are just a few topic areas:
- Conventional and Unconventional Workflows—EUR Forecasting, Spacing, Hydraulic Fracturing
- EOR/IOR—Chemical, SP, ASP
- Heavy Oil—Steam Flooding, CSS, SAGD, ES-SAGD, TAGD
- Geothermal—Wet and Dry
