Hotel

Based on 2018 feedback, we want to ensure that our conference room rates remain competitive with other hotels in the vicinity. We’re pleased to offer a room block at the Sheraton Suites Eau Claire, the location of the TS, at a nightly rate of $141 CAD (plus additional taxes). If you would like assistance booking a hotel room, please contact us and we’ll ensure you are added to the room block.

Transportation

The Calgary International Airport is a 20-25 minute drive to the hotel. Cabs and Uber are available. Calgary Transit operates buses and trains in the city to ensure you arrive at your destination safely and efficiently.

Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA):

All visa-exempt visitors are now required to have an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to visit Canada. US citizens and those holding a Canadian passport are exempt. The application fee is $7 CAD; please apply for your eTA before traveling.

Visa Requirements:

For those who require a visa, CMG is pleased to provide an official Letter of Invitation to assist with your application. The letter provides the reason for your travel, on official CMG letterhead, to authenticate your visa request. To determine your Canadian entry requirements, visit Government of Canada - Visa Information or contact the Canadian Consulate or Embassy in your country. The process to obtain a travel visa may take several months; please plan early to ensure you are able to attend.
