Enterprise Applications Specialist

The Enterprise Applications Specialist is responsible for the administration, integration, and continuous improvement of core business systems, including CRM platforms, customer support tools, and data/reporting environments. This role supports cross-functional teams by ensuring systems are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Application Administration

  • Administer and support key platforms including Salesforce, Zendesk, HubSpot, NetSuite, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Mailchimp, and Ironclad
  • Manage system configurations, user access, permissions, and ongoing maintenance
  • Perform updates to Salesforce including pricing structures, product configurations, and license entitlements
  • Development/SQL experience – the ability to customize and develop logical solutions to meet the needs of the business, various languages (Python, Apex, JavaScript, etc.)

System Integrations & Automation

  • Maintain and enhance integrations between enterprise systems (e.g., Salesforce with HubSpot)
  • Develop and Troubleshoot integrations and implement improvements to ensure data consistency across platforms

Customer Support Systems (Zendesk)

  • Administer Zendesk as the primary customer support ticketing system
  • Optimize workflows for ticket intake, assignment, tracking, and resolution
  • Support ongoing improvements, including data retention solutions and system scalability

 Dashboarding, Reporting & Analytics

  • Support data analytic and reporting processes, including integration of application data into the enterprise data lake (Microsoft Fabric)
  • Maintain and enhance dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI
  • Perform regular updates and refreshes of business dashboards (e.g., release dashboards, operational dashboards)
  • Ensure data accuracy and availability for reporting and analytics
  • Configure data inputs, permissions, and structure to support business visibility
  • Collaborate with data and business teams to enhance reporting capabilities

Documentation & Knowledge Management

  • Ensure system configurations, processes, and integrations are well documented and accessible
  • Support knowledge transfer and onboarding for new team members

Collaboration & Support

  • Partner with business stakeholders (Customer Success, Sales, Marketing) to understand system needs and implement solutions
  • Provide troubleshooting, debugging, and technical support for enterprise applications
  • Collaborate with other administrators and developers to resolve complex issues and improve system performance

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Qualifications

Required

  • Experience administering enterprise applications (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk, HubSpot, or similar CRM/support platforms)
  • Strong understanding of system integrations and data flows between platforms
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI or similar
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and support system users

Preferred

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric or data warehousing concepts
  • Foundational understanding of relational databases
  • Salesforce administration and/or development experience
  • Familiarity with customer support platforms and ticketing systems
  • Experience working with APIs, integrations, or automation tools
