Sid Bhattacharya brings more than 15 years of experience spanning engineering, digital transformation, and global energy markets. His career includes leadership roles across major energy operators, global consulting firms, and large-scale technology platforms, where he has led complex industrial transformations across upstream, midstream, downstream, and energy transition domains.
Prior to joining Seismic Solutions, he served as Global Vice President of Digital and Technology at Weatherford International, where he led the company’s global digital business and enterprise technology platforms across more than 75 countries. As President, he is excited to lead Seismic Solutions’ talented team in advancing seismic interpretation technology and empowering energy companies to overcome their most complex subsurface challenges.
Sid holds a Master of Energy Economics from Rice University, as well as dual Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical and Petroleum Engineering from the University of Adelaide. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Data Science, teaching applied analytics to graduate students and supporting industry-to-academia talent pathways.
