1978

Research foundation established in Calgary, Canada.

1980

IMEX, black oil simulator release.

1982

GEM, compositional & unconventional simulator, release.

1983

STARS, thermal & advanced EOR processes simulator, release.

1996

WinProp, phase behaviour & reservoir fluid property, release. Houston office opens to support USA & Latin America.

1997

CMG becomes a publicly traded company on TSX (50+ Employees). Builder, visualization pre-processor release (Windows +UNIX).

1998

First consulting research project. 500+ projects in 1998 to present.

1999

Results, visualization post-processor release (Windows + UNIX).

2000

Asphaltene precipitation and VAPEX modelling.

2001
