Senior Accountant

CMG is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review sales orders and invoices
  • Generate S/W revenue reporting in NetSuite
  • Review of journal Entries and ensure proper posting in NetSuite
  • Review A/P – vendor bills and expense reports
  • Assist with review of Professional Services revenue
  • Assist with review of Professional Services standard agreements
  • Generate Professional Services reports in NetSuite
  • Assist with credit card platform
  • Roll forward MD&A Tables
  • Assist with draft notes to the financial statements
  • Transfer pricing – consulting portion of calculation
  • Review bank reconciliations
  • Help manager NetSuite multibook accounting
  • Assist with external audits
  • Provide ad-hoc coverage for Accountant/Intermediate roles during vacations or workload spikes.
  • Assist with streamlining of processes.
  • Mentor junior employees and assist with training
  • Work on special projects as needed

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

  • Completion of Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Business, Finance or Accounting

Knowledge & Skills

  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with multi-currency and multi-entity accounting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Team focused with a positive attitude, must be self-motivated, and have very good time management and communication skills both in written and verbal English.

Experience

  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role
