Senior FP&A Analyst

Reporting to the Director, Commercial Operations, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with multiple departments and have direct exposure to senior leaders of the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reporting, forecasting, annual budget, and long-term financial plans for the senior leadership team;
  • Assist with quarterly and annual management reporting package for the board of directors;
  • Assist with analyzing financial results and variances and prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams through preparation of monthly financial reports for department leaders;
  • Improve and streamline financial models and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy;
  • Assist with evaluations of potential acquisition targets for inorganic growth;
  • Work on special projects as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, or similar role;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets;
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including in-depth knowledge of advanced formulas
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting;
  • Prior experience with Netsuite and Salesforce a plus, but not required;
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of the team;
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills;
  • Exceptional time management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
