Sharp Reflections, Sales and Account Manager – Americas

We are seeking a Sales and Account Manager to drive software and services growth across North and South America.

This hybrid role combines software sales, business development, and technical solutioning in the oil & gas and energy sectors. You’ll focus on identifying opportunities, and building trusted relationships with both technical and executive stakeholders.

Reporting to the Head of Sales – Western Hemisphere, you’ll be a key player in promoting the “Power of Three”—our integrated portfolio of seismic data analysis, reservoir modeling, and cloud-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Revenue: Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals through new and existing client growth.
  • Lead with Solutions: Use a consultative, value-based selling approach to understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions incorporating  CMG and  Bluware technologies on top of Sharp Reflections software.
  • Deliver Demos & POCs: Plan and competently execute software demos and proof-of-concept (POC) projects to build trust and win technical audiences.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with technical services, R&D, and sales colleagues to develop compelling proposals, trials, and Statements of Work.
  • Own the Customer Relationship: Build strong relationships at all levels of client organizations and act as a subject matter expert throughout the sales cycle.
  • Track & Report: Manage your sales pipeline in Salesforce, provide accurate forecasts, and contribute to ongoing sales team strategy sessions.
  • Be an Ambassador: Represent CMG Seismic Solutions at industry events, conferences, and client workshops throughout the region.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 5+ years in software sales, business development, or technical sales within Oil & Gas or Energy sectors.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of geoscience workflows, seismic data, and/or reservoir simulation.
  • Education: Degree in Geoscience, Engineering, Physics, or a related field; business degrees also considered.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
    • Ability to engage both technical users and C-suite executives.
    • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset, team-oriented.
  • Languages: Working language will be English. Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Willingness to travel across North and South America.
    • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
