Product Marketing Manager

We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing, this role involves working closely with the product management, development, and commercial teams to drive organizational transformation of our solutions and product positioning. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader and storyteller with a proven track record in establishing go-to-market strategy, product launch plans, competitive intelligence programs, and sales enablement material.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hands-on ownership of various go-to-market materials. This encompasses managing product launches, creating sales materials, gathering client testimonials, and designing engaging booth experiences to ensure high quality, clear, and engaging messaging. Typical deliverables will include:
    • Product naming hierarchy and conventions
    • Go-live playbooks
    • Sales materials and demo kit
    • Video demos
    • Innovative, in-person demo materials for use in conference booths.
  • Become a subject matter expert in our industry and solutions.
    • Craft value propositions, positioning, features and benefits to transform internal technical positioning into external market-friendly messaging that resonates.
    • Understand the competitive landscape and develop a competitive intelligence program, create battlecards, and engage in win/loss analysis.
  • Partner with the product management and development teams to support in long-term planning.
    Support in aligning product launches and go-to-market plans with the full marketing roadmap.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent communicator with experience in translating complex, technical content into market-friendly material that resonates with the target audience.
  • Strong project management and collaboration skills, with the ability to prioritize, work cross-functionally, and communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to inform product development priorities based on comprehensive market research and insights.
  • Ownership and thorough knowledge of a suite of products within a larger ecosystem, including an understanding of how these contribute to the overall company story and strategy.
  • Be customer focused, learn about the business to help bring value to our customers
  • Team focused with a positive attitude, must be self-motivated, and have very good time management and communication skills both in written and verbal English.

Experience

  • 7+ years in product marketing, ideally in B2B, leading product launches and go-to-market strategies.
  • Experience in developing objectives and key performance metrics to evaluate the success of marketing efforts and adjust strategies accordingly.

Special Requirements

  • The candidate should be willing to adjust their working hours to align with those of the team in Calgary, Canada, potentially necessitating some overlap. This could involve adjusting their schedule to accommodate time zone differences or coordinating with colleagues for collaborative work. Flexibility in working hours is key to ensure effective communication and collaboration across different locations.
