Integrated Production Modelling for Offshore Assets with CoFlow

Learn the fundamentals of Integrated Production Systems Modelling (IPSM) and its applications to production optimization of an offshore asset.

While the course uses an offshore asset model, the same concepts can be applied to onshore assets as well. In this course, users will learn how to build an integrated model by coupling CMG reservoir models with wells and facilities modes built in CoFlow. Users will also learn how to set up production contracts, test recovery schemes to extend plateau production, and conduct design and operational optimization of the entire production system to maximize recovery.

Course content:

· IPSM model building by coupling reservoir, wells and facility models

· Set up subsea flowlines, gathering systems, separation, and pumping

· Fluid blending of 2 or more different fluids to represent fluid behaviour in the facilities

· Production forecasting with considerations for operating constraints and cutback strategies

· Setting up of production contracts and development options to achieve contract values

· Parameterization of wells and facility design and operational parameters to conduct production optimization
