Solvent – Additives EOR Modelling Using STARS

This course on Solvent and Additives EOR will teach you how to model different solvent-based recovery processes, such as ES-SAGD and VAPEX, using CMG’s STARS simulator. You’ll learn about the fundamental principles of these processes and how to set up and run a simulation. The course covers key concepts, including diffusion and dispersion, and how they impact the effectiveness of solvent injection. You will get hands-on experience building and analyzing models, as well as fluid creation using WinProp, allowing you to compare the results of different solvent injection strategies and optimize the recovery process.
