The Senior Reservoir Simulation Scientist will work as part of CMGโs CoFlow development team. CoFlow combines reservoir and production engineering simulation technologies to improve the overall productivity of engineering workflows for large, integrated assets. It enables oil and gas companies to better understand and develop petroleum resources through a unified approach.
The successful candidate will join a small development team responsible for the technologies supporting CoFlowโs well and production engineering capabilities.
Working as part of the CoFlow team and under the direction of the Development Team Lead, the employee will work within a small team of engineering software professionals. The team is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of innovative technologies for simulating reservoirs, wells, and surface networks.
A primary responsibility of this position will be to maintain and extend CoFlowโs fluid modeling capabilities, including, but not limited to, black-oil, K-value, and equation of state fluid models; fluid blending strategies; flash calculations; fluid component lumping/de-lumping; and temperature and enthalpy formulations for thermal applications.

A Masterโs degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
